Fanatic Racing Parts intercooler improves the efficiency and power of any turbocharged application by quickly lowering temperature of the compressed charge air intake before it enters the engine. By utilizing the special lightweight tube & fin, bar & plate or other designs, pressurized air that is channeled through the thin tubes of intercooler core filled with internal radiating fins, are cooled by ambient temperature air that rushes through the front of the external core where radiation fins of the tube draws out the heat. This heat tranfers decreases the likelihood of detonation because of the reduced inlet temperature and maximizing power output by increasing the density of air inlet charge, therefore increases overall horsepower levels, boost response and air flow. Upgrading the intercooler enhances larger flow capacity and cooling efficiency. FRP intercoolers are constructed from aircraft grade aluminium, leak tested to 30psi of boost and TIG-welded off with a smooth end cap for both functionality and ultimate in reliability.
